Biography
Dr. Focus Mawe is a distinguished wound care specialist based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with extensive training in advanced wound management and hyperbaric medicine. He completed his medical degree at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences and pursued specialised training in wound care and tissue repair at leading centres across East Africa and Europe. Dr. Mawe has dedicated his career to the treatment of chronic and complex wounds, including diabetic ulcers, pressure injuries, venous leg ulcers, and post-surgical wounds. He is a certified practitioner in Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT), Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), and advanced debridement techniques.
